The world of action sports has a long history of artistry and creativity, with photography and film making centred at its core. Using analogue photography and Graystone as a backdrop, I wanted to capture a personal and candid look at action sports and the individuals that love them, whilst echoing back to their creative roots.
This photo series was shot on a camera gifted to me by my late grandfather, also a photographer, using a roll of 35mm film that expired in February 1995. The photos were taken over several weeks at Graystone, capturing moments during events, competitions and just everyday life, showing action sport lovers doing what they do best.
